Ine Verbelen
Ine Verbelen obtained a law degree with distinction from the Catholic University of Leuven and a Master's degree in International Public Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
She started her career at the Brussels Bar in September 2020 and worked at the renowned law firm Schoups until January 2023. In doing so, she enjoyed an intensive training in public procurement law, acting in various cases regarding both the awarding and execution of public contracts. In addition in the context of these cases, she developed an affinity for public procurement law in various sectors, such as construction, IT, medical and aviation. She also collaborated on several publications, including a publication on the role of the proportionality principle in public procurement law for the Public Procurement Yearbook edition 2021- 2022. Ine is also a regular speaker at various training courses with a focus on public procurement law.
Ine joined Tender Law at the beginning of February 2023, where she can further deepen her expertise in public procurement cases in the classic and special sectors. She is also active within the firm in other matters, such as concessions and public real estate law.
