Ewoud Hacke
In 2012 Ewoud Hacke obtained a master of laws degree at Ghent University majoring in public law. In 2013 he obtained a master degree in space studies at KU Leuven, after which he gained his first experience at the European Space Agency ESA.
As a lawyer at the Ghent Bar, he acquired knowledge in the law of government contracts. He then expanded this knowledge by working as a public procurement lawyer with the Flemish Government and as a public procurement coordinator with Solidaris. Before joining the Tender Law team as a lawyer, he worked as a consultant-trainer and interim manager consulting/seminars at EBP Consulting.
Ewoud has a special knowledge of public procurement in both the classic and special sectors. Next to a strong legal basis, his extensive experience has given him very practical insights into the concrete application of public procurement legislation. He uses these insights to provide assistance and advice, but also in the training courses he gives to both public bodies as well as private entities.
Ewoud also handles cases in the context of public-private partnerships (PPPs), public-public partnerships, concessions, subsidies, public property and contracting law.
Ewoud has already published a series for the trade journal Bouwkroniek/La Chronique, where he focused mainly on the practical application of the legislation. He also publishes in various professional journals.
