Axel Mahieu

Axel Mahieu obtained his Master of Laws at the University of Ghent in 2023 and has been registered with the Brussels Bar since September of that same year. During his studies, Axel developed a particular interest in public law and contract law . As an intern at Tender Law, he was able to further deepen these interests extensively in practice. His master's thesis was also situated in the domain of public law and dealt with the opportunities and issues in the context of mediation with municipalities. At Tender Law, Axel will mainly focus on cases involving public tenders in both classic and special sectors, public-private partnerships (PPS), public-public partnerships, public real estate law and concessions, as well as (public) construction law.
